Cannes Film Festival

The past few days in Cannes have been nothing short of a dream come true. Not once in my life did I imagine I’d be front and center at one of the most pretentious and famous festivals in the world, wearing absolutely unreal clothing, having the time of my life with my best friends. This post was slated to go up on Friday, but I ended up coming down with a really bad cold in Berlin and have been bed bound all weekend. UGH!

Well, I crossed the Cannes dream off of my bucket list! I wasn’t sure what to expect heading to my first film festival in Europe, or film festival in general. Would it be anything like New York Fashion Week, or Paris Fashion Week? Maybe more like a small moving premiere? I had absolutely no clue. Of course, Cannes Film Festival was more like the Golden Globes of Europe, with paparazzi, celebs, and red carpets. For my first (rainy) evening, I decided to rock this rad new Torn by Ronny Kobo dress I picked up at TJ.Maxx before my trip. I found it one size too big, but absolutely fell in love. You know when you put on a dress that makes you feel like a princess?

For me, this stunning white masterpiece did the trick. I tried it on in the dressing room with these new wedges, and immediately felt like I was Blake Lively. Well, not Blake Lively, but Serena Van Der Woodsen.

Hope you’ve been following my trip on social media! Copenhagen, Istanbul and Venice left!
