Jay Godfrey, NYFW

21 September 2015

Fashion week is always an exciting time, especially when you’re new in the fashion industry, like myself. New structures, designs and colors can get anyone overwhelmed with another season.

After Alexa sent me pictures of the Jay Godfrey show, I couldn’t wait to write about it. As you can see in the pictures above, Jay Godfrey decided to stay away from colors this season and play with a monochrome-white trend. In my opinion, white is a classy color and can be matched with just about anything. From daytime to a night out, you can’t go wrong with a splash of white. Growing up in Greece, I’m tan about 365 days of the year, which is why I adore wearing white.

In this collection, Jay stayed true to his sleek, sexy and sophisticated attitude. The designs fit perfectly with most female figures, without being too revealing. I like the fact that people around my age can wear this line, yet older women can easily rock it, too.

All in all, Jay Godfrey is a designer to look out for in the future. Do you like this monochrome look? Tell me below!
