The Past Few Days…

Why, hello there! It’s been a few days since I’ve last written anything, and my apologies on that. Between flying from London to Spain, and a lack of suitable wifi connections, trying to Instagram and write isn’t exactly the easiest. I arrived in Barcelona late Thursday night, after spending all of Wednesday wandering London, sneaking a peak at the Zara sale (these jeans + necklace for under $23) and visiting Borough Market.

If you haven’t been to London yet, Borough Market should, no doubt, be one of your first stops. I arranged for a morning blowout with Blo Covent Garden  so my hair would be nothing short of breezy before heading to a street style friendly atmosphere. Blo is a place that I always have to stop into when I’m in London. I love the vibe, all of the pink, the team, and the fresh feeling my hair has every time I leave the salon.

I biked to the market nd almost died, and then proceeded to indulge in some of the tastiest and most overpriced cuisine there is in the world. I began with delicious vegetarian Indian cuisine, that was prepared right in front of you, and finished with a local gluten-free, vegan bakery that I couldn’t resist not purchasing a few items at. You think the USA has everything you could ever need? London just about does too.

Now, I’m headed to a few weeks in Espana! I’m so excited. What’s making me even more excited is where I get to stay part of my time. Praktik Hotels invited me to stay at their Barcelona and Madrid property while I’m visiting. After doing lots of research, I decided I wanted to try out a hostel sometime during my summer abroad. I’ve never stayed at one before, yet I’ve heard fantastic reviews from other kids my age who have stayed at them. Praktik looks chic and clean enough to be a hotel, but I still get the fun experience of meeting other people and having a hostel-style setting. Plus, the rates are totally affordable!

Make sure you’re following me on Instagram to stay updated with my travels!
