Hi all! I’m reporting live from London! I got here early last morning, and have been non-stop running around to shows all yesterday and all today. It’s 5 PM here, so I’m finally having a little downtime in my hotel room at the moment. Jet lag ain’t stopping this girl (as much as I wish I could sleep for the next 48 hours…) I sadly can’t.
After arriving at 10:30 AM yesterday with Addison Lee who picked me up from the airport, I came straight to the Tune Hotel in Westminster to check in. Having a driver pick me up straight from the airport took major stress off of me to get to the hotel on my own, and I was riding in style to my hotel. The driver couldn’t have been any more suitable and appropriate, which made me very satisfied during my time in the car!
I began the day by heading to Minnan Huah show, and then heading to hang at the ME London hotel for the UGG Australia preview. After that, the Ashley Isham show and a fun event last night! Compared to NYFW, LFW is a lot more laid back. The style is trendy and appropriate for the windy but warm weather here, and the designers are incredibly sweet. I witnessed a decent amount of exuberant fashion yesterday: we’re talking bright colors blocked together. Mimi Tran (whose show was this afternoon) totally impressed me. Her exquisite designs were utterly stunning. I’d wear every single piece.
