I’m writing at the airport before I board the plane to Denver, and I’m so excited to spend the next 4 days exploring Colorado with my best friend. I haven’t taken an actual, non-work related vacation since I went to Mexico with my family when I was 13, and that feels like a decade ago.
I was in Boston for the majority of this week to plan the next few months out. Denver, NYC, DC, Charlotte, and Montreal are all on the agenda between today and New Year’s. On that note: can you believe 2016 is less than a month away? During a major H&M haul last week, I picked up a sparkly black dress I’m going to wear in Montreal, and for $34, it was worth every penny. Next task: who to kiss at midnight…
The pictures above are an assortment of outfits from the past 2 weeks: the first one is a Primark dress that I’ve worn too many times, but this time I threw on a thrifted Trina Turk blazer from a thrift shop excursion in Portland over the summer. I was smiling a lot because it was the day I filed for my LLC, and received the paperwork stating I’m an official company! AH!
You probably recognize my wool Boohoo jacket too from last year, which I uncovered under multiple pounds of clothes after moving out of my apartment in Boston to my new one. I wore it out and about in Boston on Thursday, and I’m just happy I haven’t cleaned it once yet it still looks like new.
