I wish I could say I’m a gal that excels in the makeup field, but unfortunately, I’m somewhat of a fail. If I’m running out the door, you can expect me to throw on a dash of mascara, eyeliner and concealer: that’s about all. I barely even cleanse my face at night. I know, I know: insert “X” emoji here.
But, on the positive side, when I am putting on makeup, it’s Maybelline. Since the holidays are approaching rapidly, it’s time to start prepping holiday looks. Between Halloween and Christmas, most of us are seeing family + friends we haven’t seen in a while. You’ll want to look your best, right!?
One of my favorite products to use is the Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara. It’s the world’s first ever push up brush with cup-shapes bristles that scoop, coat and lift lashes. This product delivers massive volume, with a 45 degree lift. No mascara can compare to this one. Along with the mascara, Maybelline also offers some unreal eyebrow shaping tools, like the one I’m pictured using above.
I wanted to showcase an easy, affordable, and quick look above for the gals like me who are lacking in the beauty department. I’m calling this my Autumn Apple look!
To begin, apply Maybelline’s New York Fit Me! Matte + Pourless Foundation over your face. If there’s any clumping, use a wide brush to make the foundation spread easier. Then, take the Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser and spread that under your eyes evenly.
For the eyes, take your eyeliner and apply that on the bottom and top lid. Using the New York Blushed Nudes Eyeshadow Palette, mix together two darker shades and one lighter shade, and apply on your eyelid. Finish both eyes with as much or as little eyeshadow as you want, and finish with a few strikes of your new mascara!
To shape your brows, simply take the brow drama sculpting brow mascara or define + fill duo and shape them to your liking.
