When I had my show on Radio Disney, I learned so much about patience. In between pitching and securing the show, there was a solid 6-8 month period when I was waiting on hearing whether or not I got the show. I was occupying myself with a variety of different tasks to try and focus on the long term goal of my brand if Disney didn’t say yes.
Growing up, I never was taught how to have patience while waiting for the larger projects to come through. Even when I was in high school, I remember having so many moments when I didn’t want to wait on a test score or a teacher to say yes to one of my ideas. In this episode, I dive into how to train yourself how to be patient in scenarios that may have you waiting longer for that YES.
