So, here’s two of my favorite looks right now. I love the military jacket and style, I’ll try to put a pic of it up when I’m home. I found the jacket at a vintage boutique in CT. The designer is BB Dakota. I also bought a pair of the cargo/military jeans found at Forever 21 for $25 which is a great steal. I’m planning on pairing that with a white tank top, because I really can’t think of anything else to wear it with..woops! And then here’s the sweater I was talking about that goes with the equestrian look. It’s from H&M and is a very unique sweater. It seems like it’s made out of argyle, which makes you itch sometimes, but it would be good with a white long sleeve shirt. These are some fall trends I’m really excited to wear. Well, even though I haven’t bought the H&M sweater yet, I’m going to the mall today and hopefully I can find it and then post pics! I actually wanted to tell you some designers I really like, as in Nanette Lepore, Vera Wang, and Max Azria.Actually, mentioning Max Azria, Walmart has a very affordable line featuring Max Azria & Miley Cyrus, which is so cute. I love Miley’s fashion. She’s very edgy but so unique! There’s always a hint of herself in those outfits. Also, I love Lauren Conrad’s line for Kohl’s. Personally, I really hate Kohl’s. It’s kinda overpriced and the clothes are made with cheap fabric, but Lauren’s line is actually chic and sleek. I just recently bought a brown tank top with sparkles in the front from there. It goes great with anything, which is always nice. Also, I wanted to tell you guys some of my favorite stores, just so you have an idea into where I get my style mind from. Forever 21, Delia’s, American Eagle, Vintage boutiques, Wishlist, H&M. That’s where alot of my main style these days has come from, but I truly love Urban Outfitters, although it’s way out of my price range. Now, I imagine you have a clear pic of where my style sense comes from! I posted this pic of Miley to give an idea of someone who wears affordable clothes, but still makes it work. Miley paired a white fedora hat, found at Walmart, with a cute pair of ripped cut-off jean shorts that can be found really anywhere, and a plaid shirt which I found at Forever 21 for a steal of $12.50. Now you can be a fashionista and look like Miley Cyrus! Okay, well thats all for now! TTYL!
Well, here’s my first blog. It’s pretty late at night, but I feel like there’s always a time to talk about fashion. No matter if your walking the streets at 5 am, or shopping (of course), no matter what, fashion is always surrounding you. It’s pretty amazing. Personally, I feel like fashion is my life right now. I like to be unique, and if I’m going to school in the pretty much same shirt and pair of jeans everyday, it doesn’t cut my crazy high standards. Even though the girls in my school really don’t think like that, there’s always a voice in my head telling me when I’m to boring. That’s where the experimenting comes in. We’re not always going to have the best outfits, but if there’s a hint of glam and part of YOU in the outfit, it’s probably the perfect amount. Well, throughout my blogging career, I’m going to be posting pictures of me in my normal outfits and I’m going to try to find people with style that I absolutely love so that I can post what really goes on in unique fashionista minds. But now that I’m back in school, I’m going to have to start going for a more fall type look, which hopefully you guys can help me with. I love zippers and just got an amazing deal on a shirt from Urban Outfitters thats floral print but has a zipper, it’s to die for!! But my new wardrobe will consist of alot of dark skinny jeans, jeggings and retro teas. It’s hard to go from rompers and forever 21 high-waisted shorts with sandals to jeans and sweaters, but that’s really what fall is all about, right? I’m also actually really excited about an equestrian look that I’m trying to pull off. I got these Steve Madden boots from Macy’s for such a good deal that I’m so excited to wear with almost everything! There was an article in Seventeen magazine with an adorable cotton type sweater from H&M and a blue ruffle skirt with knee-high boots that I’m so interested in going totally out of my way to find! Well, I wish I could write for my whole night, but I’m tired and still want to post some pics in a bit, so it’s time to say bye just for now. It’s been great talking.. can’t wait for you to see my first pic! Xoxo.
P.S. This pic was my first day of school outfit, do we like it? Shorts and shirt from Bermuda (Yes, the actual place-sorry girls) and shoes from Macy’s- Steve Madden.
