king of anything

11 January 2011

Hey everyone. I just started school up again after a long weekend and ugh! It seems like I’ve been off for forever and going back just really sucks.
Anyway, I figured that I should do a post in remembrance of Isabelle Caro. An amazing model who, sadly, died on November 17th from a long battle of anorexia. At just 28, she will be remembered tons. She appeared in an add campaign “No Anorexia” which was shown at Fashion Week in Milan in 2008. The add was shot by Oliviero Toscani. This just shows how deadly a disease like anorexia or bulimia can be and that if you are suffering from it, to get help. 10 million females and 1 million males are currently fighting this sickening disease, and millions more from other diseases like bulimia. She’s acted in tons of plays in France and wrote her own book “The Little Girl Who Didn’t Want To Get Fat.” She also appeared on Jessica Simpson’s show “The Price of Beauty” about her disease. In the fashion world and everywhere else, you will always be remembered for one of the strongest people known. Kudos to you Isabelle. And to everyone else struggling with one of these life threatening diseases, it all get’s better.
Love, forever&always

    That is terrible.
It really is a disease that people don't pay much attention to and you can thank the media for that.
You have a lovely blog here and I hope we can give one another a follow. 🙂
