I’m SO sorry for the long delay in posting! This past week has been kind of crazy with my birthday and everything, which is no excuse, but accept my apology! If you haven’t seen this months issue of Girl’s Life, make sure to pick it up and turn to page 34 because I’m in it!! I was so surprised and excited to see my face in the October/November issue, especially next to an icon like Elle Fanning.

I recently was approached to review the Conair Curl Secret Infiniti Pro curling iron, that retails for $99 at Walmart. I’m not big on hair because I don’t usually do anything more than straighten mine (on a very rare occasion), and I absolutely hate the smell curling and hair irons cause my hair to smell like. However, curling my hair is now going to be essential in my day-to-day styling because of this product. Say goodbye to hours of curling your hair, and hello to long-lasting curls. Plus, the Curl Secret is suitable for all ages because there is no chance of burning yourself like with other irons.

Since my hair is super long and thick, I used the video below to model my style. I was looking for something effortless and easy to create on a short time frame. This look is not difficult to recreate, and can easily be done by taking small segments of hair and using the Curl Secret to curl the hair. I kept the bottom of my hair straight and wanted to do a half up, half down look, that is a sexy way to up the “it” factor of any outfit. For my first time curling my hair, I can’t say I’m disappointed!

What is your favorite curling iron or way to do your hair?
