It’s rare for me to feel like I’m going to a completely new city that I’ve literally never stepped foot in. Airports don’t count! So I worked hard to get myself in with a Chicago morning show, and this morning, I FINALLY got to appear on The Jam WCIU in Chicago! We talked back to school style with three awesome models, and I got to meet the entire team there. On Friday of last week, the producer emailed me about changing my call time to 5 AM, which meant I had to be up at 3:30 AM this morning…which was a totally new experience for me. Getting up at 5 AM for hair and makeup is one thing, but 3 AM takes things to a new level…I’m determined to stay up for the rest of the day, but I have a feeling I’m going to leave the studio at 7 AM and actually head to bed.
Since I wasn’t in town for too long, I wanted to make sure I truly embraced Chicago. Though a bit chilly, Chicago is a city you could spend hours wandering in and out around coffee shops and stores, regardless of the temperature outside. Luckily, I partnered with Echo Limousine. A top-notch black car & limo service in Chicago. Why not travel in style if you’re only traveling for a short period of time, right? The service was excellent, and when I fly in so late, there’s nothing better than having a driver that picks you up right in the terminal and brings you to your car. I’m pretty OCD about drinking A TON of water when I fly, so the driver had bottles of water waiting for me. The drivers were all so nice, and super cool with me filming and taking pictures! I highly suggest Echo when you’re in Chicago and looking for an alternative to Uber: plus, it’s safer!
